I am on a leave of absence from my job at Affinity Health System
to care for my 18-year-old son who has metastatic carcinoma. My life
revolves around him and my 21-year-old daughter.
My Mac Memories: Long walks on Summit Avenue at all times of the year, during
which I would try to imagine my future life as a grown-up. I never
imagined cancer.

I am currently in Iraq. I work for an organization funded by the
American government and will be in London between June 1 and June 5. I
would love to hear from old friends at Macalester as it still remains a
