I live in Portland, Maine. I have already purchased my plane ticket for Reunion 2005. I spend a lot of time washing lettuce. Or, so it seems.
My Mac Memory: Taking naps on Friday afternoons on the top floor of the
library, during that brief but glorious temporal oasis between the end of
classes and the beginning of Friday-night debauchery. (I made a sort of
nest/bed by pushing two big, cushy armchairs together.)

I have been back in Cyrpus for the last 6 years now. I am
the clinical director of the first Therapeutic Community of Cyprus, a Drug
Rehabilitation Center. I am also a member of the Anti-drug Council of
Cyprus, doing policy work for the country.

I'm working in Nicaragua (since 1997) with a non-governmental organization. Most of my work here has been with visiting student and church groups from the U.S., to help them learn about the country. I'm married to a Honduran. We have a three-year old named Galen Ariel and are expecting a new baby boy by March 4th. With this new baby I will probably have some changes in my work—less travel and will be doing writing for an English language bulletin about the organization for which I work. I won't be able to come to the reunion! Maybe next time....
My Mac Memories: Springfest... body painting. Contra dancing
(I was in the Flying Fingers). Working in the international center and the
costume shop... Bag pipes. A friend dancing naked through Kagin Commons
at lunch time. Sprawling on the grass in front of Weyerhauser, reading The
Inhabited Woman by Nicaraguan author Gioconda Belli and drinking a beer.
