Here’s a peek at
some things the Class of ’96 will do during Reunion Weekend—Friday, June 2 to Sunday, June 4:
Rock n' Roll
Kick off your Reunion Weekend by cheering on our very own C’pocalypse in the Battle of the Reunion Bands. Then, catch up with friends over post-concert drinks at Sweeney's bar.
Nature
Families, nature lovers, and do-gooders
can sign up for the “Bagels
and Birds” nature walk and
service project. Come along for
a fun, easy hike, some birdwatching,
and brief buckthorn pulling
at Mac’s own Katherine Ordway
Nature Preserve on Saturday
morning.
Service
Reconnect with the community by
helping to create “no sew” fleece
blankets for children in need at
the local children’s crisis nursery.
Bring your kids and cut away for a
good cause.
Art
Three words: "Pimp Colin’s Ride."
Bring your kids and your creativity
and paint your first car. Colin’s
car, actually. An ’86 Olds (see photo). He’s
pumped, we’re pumped.
Sports
Join your fellow classmates for
a friendly afternoon game of
kickball. Kids of all ages welcome.
Reflection
Close out your weekend listening to the Gospel music of Sounds of Blackness at a low-key brunch and prayer service Sunday morning.
