I'm living in beautiful Anchorage, Alaska, with my husband, Terry, plus two kayaks and a spinning wheel. We moved up here last summer from San Francisco and are loving life on the last frontier.

For work, I'm putting my overly developed sense of moral outrage to good use as a lawyer, mostly doing school law these days.  Terry is a philosophy professor, so comes home with funny stories about his students that make me think fondly—and sometimes abashedly—about our time at Mac.

I am currently prepping for a huge trial that is scheduled for mid-May through mid-June.  But, if it settles or the trial gets moved, I will see about catching a flight to Minneapolis/Saint Paul. I haven't had hot curried cream cheese wontons in a million years.

My Mac Memories: Happy hours at Green Mill; the big house on Summit Ave.; X-Files; Wally pleasant; ACM India; bagpipes; learning to really write; learning that you could actually make a living writing about social/policy issues; oh, and more bagpipes.  I can neither confirm nor deny what was in that travel mug.
