I got married nearly six years ago, and my husband and I were promptly posted overseas for his work with a large nonprofit. We spent three years in Benin, in West Africa, and are now in Malawi, in East Africa. We have two fantastic little boys, Ian, 4, and Aidan, 2 1/2, who have kept me pretty busy up until now. I'm contemplating the Big Step of grad school in counseling and psychology, and then moving back into the work force on a part-time basis.
It's been a very tough decision, but I can't make the reunion. We have family obligations in the States in August, but coming at the beginning of June and keeping the kids away from home/Dad for three months, just so I can make the reunion, is a bit much.
My Mac Memories: Fantastic people. Having my eyes opened almost daily to new perspectives on the world. All-nighters fueled by way too much caffeine. And remember that bell?
