Reunion 2008 is fast approaching

The big weekend happens Friday- Sunday, June 6-8

Reunion 2008 will be an event you won't want to miss. Register before Friday, May 9. All alumni from the classes of 2003; 1998; 1988, 1989 & ’90; 1983; 1978, ’79 & ’80; 1963; 1958; 1953; 1948 and 1943 are invited to return to campus for a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with each other and Macalester. It promises to be a great time for all.

What will happen at Reunion 2008?

Committees of alumni from each renuion-year class have planned unique activities for their own class. In addition, a number of all-class activities allow for all generations of alumni to meet and celebrate Macalester. Here are some events from the weekend:

Friday, June 6

Arrive early and attend "Back to Class" Faculty Lectures throughout the afternoon
In the evening, find out who made it by going to your class or cluster gathering in the evening
Cut loose and dance to the Johnny Owen Band.

Saturday, June 7

Wake up and walk or run to the river
Enjoy the All-Class Family Picnic on the Great Lawn
Discuss Ian McEwan's Atonement with President Brian Rosenberg
Watch the Alumni Awards Convocation
Enjoy your class/cluster dinner and its special program
Dance the night away in the big tent
