Planning Information
Reservations
Advance reservations and payment are required for meals and housing. We cannot guarantee meals to anyone without advance registration, and events
with limited space will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
The registration fee helps defray costs such as student workers, table and chair rental,
musicians, awards, printed materials and golf cart rental for on-campus transportation.
Macalester College does not profit from reunion fees.
The reservation deadline is Friday, May 6. Please return the reservation form and
pre-addressed envelope with your check (payable to Macalester College) or your credit
card information, for campus accommodations, events, meals and registration fee. After May 6, the reservation fee will increase to $25 per person.
Cancellation: Refunds will be made only if we receive your cancellation on or before
Friday, May 13.
Travel
Northwest Airlines is offering a 5% discount (except up-fares) off the lowest applicable
fare if you book 0-59 days in advance. Call Northwest Meeting Services at
800-328-1111 weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Central Time. Mention World File
NSC9A and identify yourself as a participant in Macalester's Alumni Reunion.
Off-Campus Housing
Ask for the Macalester College Reunion rate.

You must reserve by May 6 to receive Macalester discount.
On-Campus Housing
Rooms in Wallace Hall, Turck Hall and 33 Macalester Street are available
at 5 p.m. Thursday to noon Sunday. Reserve a room when you register. Linens,
blankets and towels are provided (sorry, no air-conditioning or fans in Wallace Hall).
We will do our best to accommodate specific requests.
Weather
June weather in Minnesota is unpredictable, ranging from the 50s to the upper 80s. We
suggest bringing clothes you can layer as necessary and an umbrella and rain coat, just
in case!

- Final schedule will include all event locations; please note that some event times and
locations listed in this booklet may change.
- Meal and special event tickets. Your Saturday Class Dinner location will be printed
on your ticket.

A message board and roster of Reunion 2005 participants will be available at Registration.
