Macalester alumni and friends voyaged into the land of Vietnam on a tour guided by Macalester professor, Robert Warde.
This trip was limited to a small group.

Robert Warde has been a member of the Macalester English Department for 34 years. During 1978-79 he offered his first course on “The Literature of the Vietnam War,” and he has continued to teach that subject ever since. In 1991 he visited Vietnam with other American academics who met with faculty at the Universities of Saigon and Hanoi. He enjoyed this return trip, in the company of Macalester alumni.
