Marisol Gomez, Anarchy, 2001. Marisol Gomez wrote and illustrated her own graphic novel, and is seeking work in the comics industry.

A series of two dimensional projects through which the components of design are introduced and applied. Discussion includes the aesthetics and history of modern and postmodern design, propaganda, commercial advertising and a review of contemporary design via the graphic novel, posters, etc.

Hands-on work includes concepts, scanning, layout, typography, paste-up and production both manually and computer generated. Prior use of the Macintosh platform strongly recommended. Three two-hour periods per week.
