Justin Newhall teaches Digital Photography at Macalester College. He is an artist based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His work has been exhibited at The Museum of Contemporary Photography (Chicago), Galerie Lichtblick (Cologne), Franklin Art Works (Minneapolis),The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design (Providence) the Photographic Centre Peri (Peri, Finland), the North Dakota Museum of Art (Grand Forks), Weinstein Gallery (Minneapolis), Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (Iran), and Jen Bekman Gallery (New York), among others. Newhall is the recipient of artist fellowships from the McKnight Foundation, the Minnesota State Arts Board, and the Jerome Foundation, and his work is represented in public and private collections, including the permanent collections of the Museum of Contemporary Photography, the Walker Art Center, and the George Eastman House.
