Patricia Anderson is a visiting instructor teaching Intermediate and Advanced Chinese. Her research interests include in particular feminist writings, primarily of the twentieth and twenty first centuries and issues of translation. Her doctoral work involves a comparative study of Chinese women writers of the modern and contemporary periods, with a focus on how the mother figure is portrayed.
