Jerry Fisher is a part-time faculty member in the History Department. His course listings include "The Electronic Media in the International Age." He has recently presented papers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan, focusing on satellite broadcasting and digital compression and their impact on the U.S. and Asia. He is also employed by Hubbard Broadcasting, which has recently hired several Macalester students.
