Sonita Sarker Sonita Sarker, associate professor of English and chair of Women's, Gneder, and Sexuality Studies, offers courses in 20th century feminist utopias and feminist theory, among others. She has published "Trans-Status Subjects" (Duke UP, 2002) and is currently revising a collection "Sustainable Feminisms" (forthcoming, Elsevier 2007) as well as writing a monograph on women intellectuals and fascist/socialist philosophies that is a transnational study of Asian, Latin American, and European modernisms. She is the convener of the International Task Force at the National Women’s Studies Association. |
