Introductory Astronomy Lab

This Laboratory course will provide active exercises in astronomical measurement methods, including telescope and other roof-top observations of the night sky (as weather permits). The course is appropriate for students who desire hands-on experience to complement Physics 13, Introduction to Modern Astronomy, or as background for advanced observing projects. Prerequisite: knowledge of astronomy equivalent to concurrent registration in Physics 13 or consent of the instructor. Every year. (2 credits)
