The chemistry and biology faculty members who teach in this program are active researches who regularly involve students in their work.

Professor Parson is a consultant to Biomaterials Technology Center at 3M, where several or her students have completed internships. Professor Aanonsen is a neuroscientist whose research focuses on neurochemicals and receptors involved in processing pain.
