A state-of-the-art science facility housing the Chemistry and Biology Departments includes laboratories for laser and NMR spectroscopy, mammalian and bacterial cell culture, ultracentrifugation and chromatography, computer-assisted image analysis, radioisotope work, biomechanical analysis, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and organic synthesis and analysis. These facilities are configured to support student-faculty research and include fully equipped teaching laboratories, supporting the mainline curricula in biology and chemistry.
Two computer labs each containing 14 Macintosh systems enable students to run simulations, perform graphical and statistical analysis, and write lab reports and papers.
