Kristi Curry Rogers is a vertebrate paleontologist most interested in the evolutionary history and paleobiology of dinosaurs.  Her research program is focused on understanding dinosaur anatomy, evolution, and paleobiology.  In addition to fieldwork and museum research around the globe, she is particularly interested in the evolutionary history of the long-necked dinosaurs known as sauropods.  Rogers utilizes bone histology to explore and reconstruct patterns of the evolution of body size, growth rates, and life history strategies among dinosaurs, their living relatives, and their modern analogues.  She is jointly appointed with the Geology Department.  Rogers teaches Biodiversity and Evolution, one of the courses in the Department's core sequence, as well as courses in vertebrate anatomy and paleobiology.
