Professor Montgomery studies the evolution of animal development, using
a comparative approach involving the model organism C. elegans and
other nematode species. She has also studied the mechanisms
underlying a form of gene silencing called RNA interference
(RNAi). Professor Montgomery is also a Health Professions
Advisor.
