Professor Serie has primarily worked in the field of immunology
studying the immune response to transplants and viral infection.
She has won awards for teaching and curriculum design at the local,
state, and national level. She is the Director of the Center for
Scholarship and Teaching and serves as a Health Professions Advisor.
