Each spring, the Macalester community comes together to recognize the individual students, organizations, staff and faculty who have made meaningful contributions to the Macalester co-curricular experience. Sophomore Leadership Program

Through the Sophomore Leadership Program, students will further explore and develop their current personal philosophy of leadership; increase self-awareness through assessments, discussion of values, beliefs, culture, and identity; and understand the multiple dimensions of individual and social group identities and how they affect interactions with others. Students will develop the skills necessary to become effective social change agents through current and future leadership opportunities within and beyond the Macalester community.
