  • Student Travel Request
    All College related student travel must be submitted to capture contact information in case of an emergency and to assure that the travel plans are safe, well planned, and meet the College’s risk management guidelines. Requests for travel funding are also evaluated to determine whether there is an educational component that aligns with Macalester's mission.
  • Exemption Requests (housing, meals)
  • Students who wish to request an exemption to their Housing Contract or Meal Plan can do so based on unusual and extenuating circumstances. Efforts are first made to meet students needs through a variety of means without granting an exemption.
  • Volunteer Opportunities
    Major campus events such as commencement and new student orientation rely on the full community coming together to celebrate. Faculty, staff, and student volunteers help to make these events possible and a vibrant expression of the campus community.
