Why I am a MB leader:
I am a Macward Bound leader because I participated in Macward Bound as a first year and my leader was the one who made my experience. Macward Bound made the transition to college a lot easier and I want to provide this experience to others. And hang out in the woods!
Advice to a first year student:
Try new things! Join a club, take classes that you wouldn't normally, and stay open minded about all the people you meet.
Favorite thing about Mac:
The interesting people and supportive learning environment.
Involvements at Mac/twin cities:
I'm part of Adelante, Women's Club Lacrosse, Adopt-A-Grandparent, WMCN Macalester College Radio and will be interning with Metro Transit in Minneapolis this summer.
