Why I am a MB leader:
I love Macalester and being able to introduce new students to it, and I love being a mentor and helping people sort out their interests and options. Also, I love meeting new and awesome Macalester kids who love having fun outdoors like I do.
Advice to a first year student:
Take advantage of, look into, and ask questions about everything that sparks your interest. You never know what a conversation or a few minutes of your time can become.
Favorite thing about Mac:
The multiple study spots for every situation's study needs, the urban feel of being perfectly close to two awesome cities, the invested and passionate students, the inspiring professors who are also very important people doing amazing things, and the liberal arts aspect of bringing differing perspectives to and intertwining all of my academic interests.
Involvements at Mac/twin cities:
Women's Ultimate Frisbee, Macalester Development Group/Rising Minds @ Mac, Minnesota AIDS Project.
