Alumni: Services for Alumni

  • Reciprocity with Other University Career Offices - Reciprocity is the process that allows Macalester Alumni to exercise limited access to the resources of other colleges or universities. Most career centers will honor a reciprocity request for access to their library and employment listings. However, individual career counseling services are not included in reciprocity agreements. If you are unable to use the Macalester Career Development Center due to your location, we can request access to college or university career centers close to you.  Contact the CDC (651.696.6384 or cdc@macalester.edu) for a letter of introduction.
  • Alumni Career Network - The Alumni Career Network is a resource that lists over 600 Twin Cities, out-of-state, and international alumni who have volunteered to share information with individual students about their career areas, places of employment, professional organizations, and graduate and professional schools. The network lists alumnus name, occupation, employer and contact information. The CDC will be happy to generate an Alumni Career Network report to assist with your job search. Alumni can obtain a list by contacting the CDC. OR, go online to the Alumni Relations' web-based Alumni Directory.
