Career Counseling Appointments Current students may schedule counseling appointments throughout their time at Macalester. Recently graduated seniors can schedule up to three individual counseling appointments. Career counseling sessions can cover major selection, general career planning, graduate school options, resume writing, job searching, and more. Career Assessments may also be used to help students and alumni find out more about themselves. Assessments used in the CDC include the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory.
