Job Search Skills: Organizing Your Job Search
Keeping record of the companies you apply to will be an important part of the job search process. Use 4x6 note cards, or a spiral-bound or three-ring binder to record the company name, contact person, application deadline, correspondence to and from the company, and your follow-up actions.
