Collaborating

Faculty can collaborate with the CDC to maximize student potential, by providing students with a variety of specialty services.

The CDC is available for in-class presentations, tabling, workshops, and group seminars.

Also, the CDC has created several different handouts to aid students in their career exploration. Faculty can use these handouts to advise students by reminding them of the information available and improving their understanding of the materials.

• Bulletins in a Bag are specially created packages of information about career exploration and other topics. Each package is a full bulletin board worth of material from the CDC. Find out what your students are seeing by checking out each package for yourself.

• Career Conversations are packages of information available for each major. Each package includes alumni information, websites, CDC library materials, and advice about the specific major. To access a Career Conversation package, call the CDC or e-mail us at cdc@macalester.edu
