ISSUE BASED ORGANIZER - Economic Justice
The Economic Justice Organizer will develop community partnerships and volunteer opportunities around issues of poverty, food, housing, and neighborhood development. Nonprofits working in these areas include: Project for Pride in Living, Second Harvest Food Bank, Simpson Housing Services, The Family Place a day shelter, and Habitat for Humanity. The Coordinator is responsible for planning programs during Hunger and Homelessness week, occurring the week before Thanksgiving.
