Poster Printing
This information is primarily for the Mathematics and Science
Division poster printer. Much of this information also applies
to the other poster printers on campus, however.
See the FAQ for answers
to your most frequently asked questions.
To print from your computer, see the installation
instructions.
Need templates, or a quick walkthrough to help you get printing?
See our Walkthroughs and Files page.
Contacts
The primary contact for the Poster Printer is Adam Nave, the
Instructional Technology Specialist in Olin Rice. Adam can be
reached by email or
by phone at x6016.
If Adam is unavailable, you can get help from any of the Academic
Information Associates.
Other Printers
If you need to print and are not part of the Natural Sciences
Division, you may still have some other options.
- See Alison Sommer about
using the Designjet 2500cp poster printer.
- The Geography department recently purchased a Designjet 5500ps
for their own use. (The documentation on this site can be used
with their printer.)
- Contact a print shop like Tierney
Brothers. It's cheaper than walk-in print shops, but
takes more advance notice. They can also laminate, which
is good for artwork and long-term use.
- Fed-Ex
Kinkos can print large format posters with very little
notice, but it's not cheap.
