The message that is made by the signature is broad
and should stand alone, separate
from the specific messages in printed communications as shown below.
Other items can exist in the column or row with the signature if they also work best outside
the main body of text and images, like the address on a letterhead or a tag line that refers
to the college as a whole.
The signature should be placed either in its own row across the top or bottom of a layout...
or in its own column along the right or left edge of a layout.
Do not place the signature in a box carved out of a body of text.
