PUBLIC INTELLECTUAL ESSAYS & REFORM INITIATIVES

 

 

 

Please observe the following format guidelines for preparation of your PIE’s and Reform Initiatives as MS Word Attachments:

 

Essay Titles: Font: Times -14point – bold - all caps – centered – followed by double space.

 

Section Titles: Font: Times - 14point – bold - Capitalize first letter of word only.

Paragraphs: Font: Times – 12point.  Do not indent first line – single space in body – double space between paragraphs. 

 

- For listings within paragraphs: indent, use dash (NOT bullets).

 

References: No indentation. Single space within reference, double space between references.  Use underline but NOT italics. 

 

 

Please e-mail your Public Intellectual Essays as a Word attachment to [kurthschai@macalester.edu]  & [sking@macalester.edu] before 4:00 p.m. on Friday April 26th. 

 

Please appoint one member of your RIG to e-mail your Reform Initiative as a Word attachment to [kurthschai@macalester.edu]  & [sking@macalester.edu] before 4:00 p.m. on Friday May 3rd.
