Aubyn Eli
Aubyn Eli is a renowned amateur flutist and armadillo enthusiast. A native of Nevada City, California, she spent her formative years mastering Tetris, studying martial arts, wearing headgear for orthodontic purposes, and collecting postage stamps and then sticking them to her bedroom wall as a decorative statement. Aubyn enjoys film noirs and movies directed by Alfred Hitchcock, the color green, surrealist art, Broadway musicals, the musical expressionism of the Barenaked Ladies, and being responsible. (She was voted “Most Likely to Attend School on Senior Skip Day” in high school. Her classmates were right.) There was, however, that one time when she was learning to drive, couldn’t figure out how to use the brakes in time, and opted to crash into a tree instead. (No one was injured.) Her vices include procrastination, laziness, and generally being a slob. Her ambitions include learning how to swim and owning a multi-story personal library. A sophomore at Macalester College, Aubyn Eli is an English literature major and an accomplished rap artist.
