State of the Union

Back to Jeremy's Page

Whenever I ask myself if it’s worth it
I think of my hero’s words.
The great Bolshevik leader said,
“We’re more popular than Jesus.”

We have done much in our great nation.
We have achieved many achievements.

Our economy is growing.
We have to tighten our belts a little.
We must be the shepherds
prodding our economy
into submission.

To make our economy stronger
we must work together
to support the corporations
but according to Marx, “Outside of a dog a book
is a man’s best friend.
Inside of a dog,
it’s too dark to read."

Support our smaller businesses
by giving them no benefits.
It will help them in the long run.
If we subsidize, they’ll never learn.

To keep our economy inundating
we need renewable energy sources.
We need to renew
our oil supplies.
We need a way to grow dinosaurs
and then kill them.
As FDR once said,
“I wish Kramer would drop dead.”
The road of Providence is unpalatable,
and Rhode Island is a ways from Texas
But we know where the road leads.
It leads to the future.
We will be a free and autistic country.
