The Vienna Plan of 1860

This is the plan for the Ringstrasse, published in 1860. The enscription below the figures on the left, translated, reads: Bedecked by Art. The enscription below the figures on the right reads: Strong through Law and Peace. These phrases and their accompanying figures are quite important, because they represent the recent liberalization of the Viennese government.
