As can be seen Managua is not a typical Latin American city. It has virtually no structure, its setup is chaotic and the CBD is non-existent. Urban development programs have been anticipated but lack of money and resources has allowed the developments of Managua to occur rapidly and unplanned. Unstable political control has also been very hard on the city and until the country becomes stable Managua will remain the urban disaster that it is today. the future of the city is still undetermined but at this point its redevelopment will be years in coming.
