| Belfast is primarily an industrial city, it grew rapidly during the second wave of British industrialization thus the industry regions of the city are more numerous and larger than the model describes. As a result, working class social housing is prevalent throughout the industrial areas; large tracts of brick terraces extend across the inner city much more than the model describes. |
