Looking from the top of the view downwards Table Bay can be seen, followed by the docklands and then the city centre (characterized by high density skycrapers and other buildings). Futhur inland from the Bay until Table Mountain, are located some of the suburbs of Cape Town. The other suburbs, which cannot be seen on this view wrap around the coast and their expansion is limited by Table Mountain, Signal Hill and other physical barriers.
