The map shown above depicts the route
of Transit system in Toronto. The yellow
line shows the route of subway, while the
red one is the route of streetcars in the
surface route.

Like the other North American cities,
Toronto is predominantly the automobile city.
With highly developed freeways and
inter-province highways, an automobile
is the major transportation for Torontonians.

Streetcars are also an important transportation
system for the citizens and visitors. People
are heavily dependant on this public transit
system since it is very convenient. Every
five to ten minutes, you can find a car you
want to take. As you can see in the pictures,
streetcar rails are thoroughly paved in the
major roads in Toronto. The cords put over
our head supply electricity to the each streetcar.
Like in San Francisco, the cords seen in all over
the city have become an icon of the city.

There are subway lines throughout the city center
with relatively clean cars unlike New York ones
which are notorious for their dangerous and dirty condition.
