Mondello

Mondello is one of the most noted beach resorts of Sicily, with
a sandy beach that extends from Monte Pellegrino to Monte Gallo. Created
by a Belgian society from 1892-1910, there has been considerable construction
in the bay area after World War II. The north end contains a fishing village
and a midieval tower. In the picture, you can see Monte Gallo, which rises
527 meters above the sea, and is a protected area.
