on the mouth of the Yanzi River in Eastern China. Its boundaries
also includes the island of Chongming. It lies between the latitude
of 30°23' and 31°27l N.
 |
Its excellent situational
location is due to its place at the mouth of the Changjiang Delta
which gives its access to one of China's most production regions.
In addition to this it is located at the half way point on China's
coastline, giving it access to the northern part and the southern
part of China. |
