Presenters' responsabilities:

In the oral presentations I look for:

• A practiced delivery.
• Informative, well organized, appropriate content.
• Minimal reference to a prepared text.
• Active engagement with the audience.

If any of the preceding items is missing the assignment will receive some kind of C. If more than one of the preceding items are missing it will receive an even lower grade.

If the presentation conforms to all of the above criteria I then look for the following:

• Effective use of some kind of visual or other instructional aid.
• Thoughtful and realistic solicitation of class feedback to ensure that the presentation is being absorbed.

Based on the degree to which these criteria are met a grade of some kind of A or B will then be assigned.
