Homework is normally of two different types:
- The student workbook, Quia.
Work must to be completed on a daily basis, prior to class, in preparation
for class. Please note that the Course Calendar will indicate the
sections for which one is responsible. Written work will be accepted
up to 1 hour late without penalty.
- Frequent assignments from the Identidades
website. These assignments will appear on the course
calendar and must be complete prior to the classroom session
that day. The on-line quizzes, the results of which must be sent to
your instructor at guyerl@macalester.edu (please note the "L"
after "GUYER"), test most functions and grammatical principles
covered in the chapters and serve as useful measures of one's mastery
of Spanish prior to more formal examinations.
T he Identidades quizzes and Quia workbook are as
much learning activities as assessment instruments. Therefore, students
should take and re-take the quizzes until they acheive the score they
wish or they are limited by the number of attempts allowed. Once the score
of any quiz or workbook is submitted no re-takes will be accepted. |
