| About Us Macalester Crew is a student-run club sport at Macalester College in St. Paul, MN. We train on the water and compete in regattas around the Midwest in the fall and spring. We are open to and encourage all students who have an interest in rowing. Experienced rowers typically start out on varsity, while beginners are introduced to the sport through learn-to-rows in the fall season. Our fall season is approximately from the beginning of September to the beginning of November. In the spring we are on the river usually after spring break, which is in the middle of March. During the winter we have organized training three times a week and always encourage our rowers to work out on their own. We row out of the Minneapolis Rowing Club boathouse and our coaching staff consists of a head coach and two novice coaches. Varsity rows in the mornings and novices in the afternoons. |
