The Hawkinson Foundation had awarded a total of $54,500
in scholarships to 54 students since it began operations in 1988.
In 2005, the Foundation awarded 4 scholarships of $1,500
each and seven scholarships of $1,000 each.
Students must demonstrate a commitment to peace and
justice - see the application for details. Students must also reside or
attend school in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa or
Wisconsin.
Applications for the Hawkinson Scholarship application are due by April 1 each year.
