MacBike Bike Share  Don't have a car? Ride a bike! Bike Share, sponsored by MacBike, will let you borrow a bike for up to a week. Check out a bike at the Info Desk in the Campus Center. Just show your Mac ID, fill out a form, and then you receive a bike, helmet and lock. Maps of Twin Cities’ bike routes, a pump for flat tires and other basic tools are also available there.

Zipride---- is Macalester's new online rideshare board. It's open to faculty, staff, students and alumni.  Check to see if someone is commuting your way and has an extra seat! Or, rent the HourCar and post your trip on the zipride board for others to see.  The fuller the car, the cheaper your trip! http://www.macalester.zipride.com/

Ride the bus or light rail! Call 1-800-NEW-RIDER or check out the online Trip Planner for route information. Remember to pick up a transfer when you get on - it's good for 2.5 hours! Stop by the Info Desk in the Campus Center to buy Super Saver bus passes.

HOURCAR at Macalester. Still want a car? HOURCAR is a fast-growing car-sharing program in the Twin Cities. To use the car, make reservations online at www.HOURCAR.org or by phone, and return the car to its Patagonia parking space when done. HOURCAR members must meet basic requirements; contact HourCar.org for more information.
