Teaching Writing Workshop (May 19-20) 
The "Teaching Writing Workshop" is open to all faculty at Macalester, but is especially designed to help prepare those faculty teaching a First Year Course in Fall 2014. Highlights of this year's workshop include demonstrations of how Macalester faculty teach various aspects of writing and a program by Professor Sheryl Holt (University of Minnesota) on responding to the writing of non-native speakers.  Fall 2014 First Year Course faculty who attend the two-day workshop will also receive a $200 stipend.
