Monday, May 16 will feature workshops for department chairs in the Old Main Fourth Floor Lounge as well as sessions on scholarly writing and publishing  for faculty at the Serie Center, Suite 338 of the DeWitt Wallace Library.  SPAW sessions on Tuesday, May 17 will be held in the Campus Center and feature a plenary speaker on sustainability in the curriculum.

Thursday, May 19 and Friday, May 20 features workshops on teaching argumentative writing in the Old Main Fourth Floor Lounge.  This two-day writing pedagogy workshop is designed primarily for faculty who will teach a First Year Course in Fall 2011.  All Macalester faculty members are encouraged to come, but FYC faculty members will receive a $250 stipend for participating in teaching argumentative writing workshop.
