Services for Students with Disabilities
Macalester College seeks to create a welcoming environment in which all students can reach their academic potential and have equal access to academic opportunities and co-curricular activities. The College is committed to responding in a flexible manner to the individual needs of all members of the Macalester community. The Associate Dean of Students, Lisa Landreman, is responsible for assisting students who have physical, psychological, learning or other cognitive disabilities that affect their academic or personal lives at the college. This website provides the basic information regarding how to request accommodations, eligibility for services and other resources.
Requesting Accommodations
Any student who is interested in requesting services should contact the Dean of Students Office early in the semester to schedule a 30-minute meeting with the Disability Student Services Coordinator. Please bring required documentation (see guidelines below) to the meeting.
Location, Hours, and Contact Information
The Disability Student Services Coordinator is located in 119 Weyerhaeuser Administration Building.
The academic year hours are 8:00am-4:30pm.
