Phase One includes the commons, larger art galleries, and new art history classrooms, as well as expanded and renovated music facilities. The $31 million budget relies on $24 million in gifts and $7 million in long-term debt financing. This is the third of the three major capital projects in the Step Forward campaign, and donors have already given or pledged $6 million.
