Study Abroad
Every year there are a number of economics majors
that elect to study abroad. They carefully plan their studies and their
efforts often greatly enrich their academic career. In years past students
traveled far and wide:
Fall 2004:
- Brendan Bosman '06 (Minneapolis, Minnesota) will study Internation
Business and Economics at the Denmark International Studies program
in Copenhagen, Denmark.
- Faith Cornwall '05 (Providence, Rhode Island) studied in Scandinavian
Studies through the Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs' (HECUA's)
program in Norway.
- Yana Mihaleva '06 (Silistra, Bulgaria) studied in business
at the University of Seville in Spain through the Council on International
Education Exchange.
- Rehan Noronha '05 (India) studied at the University College London
in the U.K.
- Patrick Radberger '05 studied at the Warsaw School of Economics in
Poland.
- Panot Sirisanthana '05 studied at the London School of Economics in
the U.K.
Spring 2005:
- Chris Collins '05 (Richland Center, Wisconsin) studied with the Associated
Colleges of the Midwest's Nation Building and Development in Africa
Program in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- David Coe '05 (Indiana) studied at University College London in the
U.K.
- Emily Davidson '05 studied at the University of Economics in Prague,
Czech Republic.
- Jed Fix '05 (Spokane, Washington) studied at the SIT Culture and Development
Program in Mongolia.
- Arda Kuran '05 (Cyprus) studied at the University of Montpellier in
Montpellier, France.
Fall 2005:
- Ben Garnett '07 (Laramine, Wyoming) is studying at the London
School of Economics in the U.K.
- Diago Dieye '07 (Senegal) is studying at the ACM Program Japan in Tokyo.
- Kylie Thomson '07 (Seattle, Washington) is studying at the London
School of Economics in the U.K.
- Alexander Wise '07 (Knoxville, Tennesse) is studying at the
University of Edinburgh in Scottland.
- Allen Combs '07 (Bethesda, Maryland) is studying at at the University
of Sussex in England.
- Na Yeon Oh '07 (Singapore) is studying at the IES Program in
Beijing, China.
- Zach Cheema '06 (Scarsdale, NY) is studying at the SIT Economic
Development and Globalization Program in Chile.
