Extracting lavender and tapping your toes doesn't sound like your typical course of study for a neuroscience student but in the labs of Professor Eric Wiertelak it is. Students have investigated plants that are used to alleviate pain and suffering. They've also donned their dancing shoes to better understand how motor systems work.

The film follows college student Valarie Kaur as she documents hate violence against Sikhs and Muslims and examines the larger question of “who counts” as American. more»
